I have been granted permission to be co-maintainer of the following module: http://drupal.org/project/solrjs

The relevant issue granting me permission is: http://drupal.org/node/597574

We will have to rename the module to apachesolr_ajax, as we are no longer using the SolrJS library on which it had been based, and the name is now misleading. apachesolr_ajax won't have that problem. We chose this name as the module simply creates an AJAX search interface, building off the apachesolr module's API.
