Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
Over the last year or so I've tried to help direct, test and review patches for core's contact.module.
1. I'm very active in the module's issue queue. There are just under two full pages of issues that I've participated, patched, or triaged.
2. I'm the organizer on the Contact core initiatives.
3. I'm very willing to make sure the module gets love and future-looking for Drupal 7 and above.
Thought I'd throw this out there and see if it gets any approval.

Dave ReidGuess I should correct that title. I'd be the only maintainer for contact.module.

dwwSo far, my experience having Dave as a co-maintainer for Update status has been nothing but fantastic. His track record on contact module speaks for itself. If he's willing to take this on more formally, I'm in favor (so long as it doesn't take away from his wonderful efforts on update.module). ;)
Rock onward, Dave...
