Firstly I think I should say that this application is in regards to creating & maintaining a new Installation Profile project. So my response to the first question of this application is not entirely true, but I believed it would still be correct for these circumstances?
To the project:
For several weeks I've been part of a team developing an Installation Profile for Drupal 6.x. We have a version ready for use with, and hopefully release as a project on Drupal.org. The aim of the profile is to install and configure modules that any team can use to get a head start on configuring a team website, hence the name 'AnyTM - Any Team Management'. You can find a version ready for download and review at: https://sourceforge.net/projects/anytm/
The profile aims to help you simply set up a powerful custom website for organizing and managing Any Team, from a sports clubs to a business. With an emphasis on 'simply'. We believe this installation profile will give every team a running start with their new Drupal website. This installation profile installs and configures modules and content for your team Drupal 6.x website. It allows you to select a theme, configure blocks, set up users, polls, a shout box and forums and pages. When done with the install you will have a site configured specifically for your team up and running.
It depends on:
advanced_help, calendar, cck, date, install_profile_api, shoutbox, views
So they are the features and functionality our profile has to offer.
But why do I want to maintain the project? I'm coming to the end of my University degree, graduating this year. I'm going to join the programming community with a Computer Science degree majoring in Software Engineering. Hopefully this project will be the start of many open source projects I can be a part of and help maintain throughout my future career. Although new to both PHP and Drupal, I and my team have read the numerous pages of information available on Drupal, about his CVS application, CVS itself, Drupals coding standards, code security and creating and maintaining a project.
Our team hopes with your consideration and guidance, I will be able to receive a CVS account and commit our Installation Profile to the Drupal community.
Thanks for your consideration,
David Doyle

daviddoyle commentedThanks for the tips. Both these issues have been fixed. And after reading up on the CVS I removed the logo, as I saw only .profile and .txt files could be included with a Installation Profile.
