Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
To reproduce:
create a view
set the default style to not node, eg fields
add some displays that need to be not nodes
then add an rss feed display.
there's only one option for style, 'node' but it's unselected.
there's no way to set this to override
and presumably, if I pick 'node', it'll mess up my other displays.

joachim CreditAttribution: joachim commentedHuh.
RSS feeds seem to never have a style override.
Could do with some UI text so one doesn't panic about messing up other displays!

esmerel CreditAttribution: esmerel commentedYeah, there's no style override for RSS - this should probably just be in docs.

dawehnerLooks fine.
Perhaps we could like to a page where it's explained how to create plugins: api-plugins.html for example.
