500 Internal Server error when trying to modify "content types" settings

When trying to change settings for any content type on "content types" page, I get the "500 Internal Server error". Changed settings do actually get saved. This is the only administrative page I see this error in.

The error log on the provider's side shows "Premature end of script headers: /home/u29768/spartak-n.ru/cgi-bin/php". I am running my own compiled php per providers reccomendations, and you can see phpinfo at http://www.spartak-n.ru/node/1 . I have not installed any additional modules yet - just the base system.
