This is a kind of stupid question, but where do I configure the module? I installed it, but don't see a link in the Admin panel for it.

Not a stupid question at all! If you're using the admin_menu module, it should appear under 'Site configuration' with the title 'Attachment expiration'. If not, you can find it at admin/settings/attachment_expiration. Please let me know if you had any further trouble!
