Could you possibly provide a screenshot and/or a link to a page/site with this problem? It will help greatly with my ability to fix the bug...

In IE 8.0.6001 and Firefox3.5.2 there are many block floating issues; in IE there are no rounded corners in blocks. Too many issues to warrant screen shots.

I should probably roll up my sleeves and contribute! :-)

Will there be an update about this issue soon? Some of the users on my homepage have the same problems.

I'm waiting for more informations about browser etc from my users and hope that someone will send a screenshot. Will post later again when I have the information.

Screenshots or links to the site would be extremely helpful; I haven't yet run into this problem, but it's probably an easy fix. If you post a link to the page in question, I'll test it and post a patch a.s.a.p.

The link to the page is: www.psv-cycling-team.de (You probably remember the page because I already submited the issue with the logo.)

However, didn´t get a screenshot yet but will post it when I get one. I personaly haven´t run into the problem as well and I used IE 8 and Firefox 3.5.3.

Just thought I'd mention - in IE there won't be any rounded corners since IE doesn't currently support the CSS property being used to create the rounded corners - even IE8.

There are a couple of techniques to create rounded corners in IE, and I implemented one for this theme - however, I'm noticing they don't display well in IE8 (go figure) - it may be that I converted to using sprites for the corners and I screwed up the transparency somehow - anyway, sometime I may look at it again.

This will hopefully be fixed when I roll an update to 1.4 - there are quite a few annoying bugs when running the latest build of Zen - they keep changing up little bits that cause problems in airyblue.

Please try out 6.x-1.4 and see if this is still an issue. If it is, please post a screenshot so I can see exactly what your problem is.

Sound be fixed in 1.4, and if not, try 1.5 with Zen 2.x-beta1.

Hey, I still have this issue with 1,5 and Zen 6.x-2.0 beta 1.

The content is overlapping with the blocks on the left side.

Doesn't work in Firefox 3.0.15 on Ubuntu either.

Please forgive me for being a dumb a****. Of course it works in Firefox. I somehow missed that I had to enable the Zen theme for the new version to take. *blush*

Eek - just spotted this on my own site as well. I will take a look tomorrow, when I get some time. This issue seems to be the hydra of this theme :-O

I added the rule below to ie.css, and the problem *seems* to be gone. However, one of my test sites seems to flash the content in an odd place for moment before rendering it correctly.

/me hates Internet Explorer.

Code for fix (in ie.css):

#main-inner
{
	overflow: auto;
}

Hey,

unfortunaly did I just get the following screenshot. Looks like the problem is still not solved with IE. :o(

Coron’s picture

Any idea what else could be done to solve the problem or do you have a update comming out shortly? If not, then I might switch to another theme because my costumers use IE the most.

geerlingguy’s picture

@ Coron - I haven't had time this week to fix the issue. My test site (http://test.opensourcecatholic.com/) seems to not have a problem, but I don't know why your site is still having trouble. I might need to change the way the middle column is displayed altogether :(
