Hello,

I know it's not going to be a backport of that 'feature', but it would be great if we can know what should be (more or less) changed to do that in Drupal 5.x.

Unless some one has energy to submit a patch for this 5.x-2.1 version, it's not going be implemented unfortunately. D5 version of this module is deprecated.
