The problem appears on a 4.6.6 Drupal site. An attempt to type URLs of the form "www.mysite.com/node/node/any_number" brings up the welcoming page "Welcome to your new Drupal-powered site..", asking to register first admin account.
Found occasionaly after making a typo in the address bar.

Cannot reproduce in HEAD. node/node/23 for example simply shows "node", i.e. the normal start page.

I cannot reproduce this on HEAD. Since this is minor and appears to be working, marking it as closed.

It has been pointed out here, that this issue my be a part of a bug in node system.
