Can the field handle text separated by commas and save them as separate CCK entries?

These autocomplete widgets allow multiple values, but these are managed by CCK itself, so it works with "Add more items" button, etc.

IIRC, the CCK Formatters module provides a formatter for text fields that separates multiple values with commas.
