Sync with HEAD. I'm not sure if the line-breaks I have in between @link and @endlink are allowed or not.

The linebreaks confuse api.module. Please make the @links not break or change this issue's status back after api.module is more accepting.

Committed to 5 with adding an extra linebreak on that extremely long line, but not within the link.

This patch doesn't seem to apply against CVS HEAD. Needs to be re-rolled, it seems.
