Breaking footer region into three regions

I would like to break the footer region into three regions such that the left and the right one consumes 33% space each and the center one consumes 34% space. It would be good if I get a quick answer to my problem. I am setting it to high priority.
By the way, this is asked for admire gray D6 version and not the D5 version. I couldn't see any D6 option there, so I marked it under 5.x-1.4.
