I have numerous albums created, they were working fine until a recent update from 6.10 -> 6.12.
Now I can see the Album names and thumbnails on the front-page block, however when I click on the album there are no pictures displayed!!
How can I identify the issue and fix it without having to recreate all albums again?!!
thanks!

vako commentedOK, since I am getting no replies; if I uninstall this module and install it again, will I loose my albums and photos already there?
vako commented...any suggestions?
vako commentedOK, what other modules can I choose to get a nice-looking photo-album with no bugs and proven record?
davidjm777 commentedYou shouldn't lose anything. The information is saved in your dbase. Deleting the module will do nothing - unless you click "update dbase." That might delete any associated content. I don't know of another album.

vako commentedThanks for the reply, but since I didn't get any suggestions on-time I had to do the whole photos section again. It was two weeks of pain and lost comments and other descriptions. Wasn't a good experience and support...

davidjm777 commentedWhat did you end up doing or using? I'm working through the same issue.
davidjm777 commentedI figured out my problem! Album Photo's requires upload in the core module. For some reason, when I went to Modules, Upload was not there. And Album Photos was telling me that Upload was missing. I re-downloaded drupal 6-13, and deleted upload from my folder using FTP. Then I re-uploaded just the Upload module. Bingo! upload was among the modules. Then I unchecked Album photos. Saved config. Went back to upload, and I checked it to enable it. saved. Then went and re-checked (enabled) Album Photos. Now we're back to work! Something must have happened when I upgraded drupal last month to the 6-13. I suspect I'm not the only one.

vako commentedI changed the way I am using the albums. Currently I am using Album Photos with dfgallery, LightBox 2 and Image module integration.
For the upload, am using IMCE browser which is a fantastic image upload and manipulation module.

MiraKimura commentedis this problem solved? or i have to do the same as vako.. to upload the pictures all over again..?
vako commentedMira, as you see there was no solution unfortunately, even thought it's a widely used module I assume.
For the future, just use the backup & migrate module to backup everything and make sure you do a manual backup of the files folder from the server.
Please let us know if you find any solution.

ikeigenwijs commentedi have the same problem,
the my albums link does not work anymore
but albums are intact when you go to them direcly.
just a white screen.
I updated to drupal 6.15 recently.
is there any hope this will be fixed soon?
vako commentedAs you see from the dates of the previous postings and requests, I don't see it being fixed in the near future. Seems to be an abandoned module...unfortunately.
ikeigenwijs commentedi worked around it with making a list of the albums with views and node titels.
than albums work again.
