when going to the admin/build/modules page the entire directory is scanned each time for modules - this could make the page load time significant if there are a large number of modules installed - what about having a separate button that said something like "refresh available modules" so when developing and you are turning off and on modules you don't need to wait so long?

Just an idea, let me know if it's dumb ;)
