I set up a bookstore at http://www.christiannotebook.com/books, everything was all happy and good. The site has about 101 books on it, the amazon associate tools grabbed the author, price, images when I entered each book as a node. Basically, the site was working as planned. A week later, I noticed that my crontab was not set up, so I set the crontab to do:
wget http://www.christiannotebook.com/books/cron.php
and then eventually all the authors data from all the records got deleted. Has this happened to anyone else before? I wonder what happened.

Looks like there's been a few modifications. Check for typos, especially in your theme functions.

Oh yes, thanks for checking out my site. I did do quite a bit of theme modifications, but the thing is I made the theme modifications about a week ago. And then I didn't do any changes to the theme since then, and everything was working fine for that week.

Then after a week of it working fine, I added the cron command to the system, and *poof* the authors slowly disappear. At first I noticed about 10% of the authors disappeared, went to bed, and the following morning all the authors were gone. It seems to be isolated to activating the cron.

Okay, I found the problem. I don't know WHEN I missed that... Here's a patch, and I'm fixing the various versions too.

There's an additional permission in there to control access to the bulk import function as well.
