I've created a view to list a particular type of content on my site. All the views tutorials indicate a "link display" option in the basic settings area of the view that means the list brought back will link to the content node that it's from.

I can't see this option, I've tried display types of block and page, and list types of html, grid, table etc. The only progress I've made is by making one of the fields returned the "Node:Link" but that gives me an unsightly "View" link next to my node title.

What am I missing, please help.

the option is there.

do you have multiple displays created? if not there would be nothing to link to.

Yes my apologies I should have closed this out when I fixed. I got the links and removed the "View" label. Settings were in the view control panel, just my ignorance stopped me finding them. however I now have a new problem, but I've created a second issue for that - any thoughts would be welcome.
