Hi,
I installed this module and all it's dependancies one a central site and my remote site and I kept getting this error: Could not retrieve a list of content types from the remote server and a failed http request message. I read the issue queue here and applied the patch I found on an earlier thread. I re installed the module with the patch (I applied the patch to the dev version) and then I stopped getting the http fail status messages and now I only get the "Could not retrieve a list of content types from the remote server" message.
I have the same content type on both sites.
I made an API key for my remote site and installed it
I put my URL of my site in the distribution settings page
Configured the Web service endpoint
I made up a username and password on the remote site (although, I don't really understand if this is working or why)
I have enabled a content type on my central site too.
Nodequeue is working fine
Views is working (although it seems to run a query when I use an argument in the preview section, nothing really shows up. The MYSQL code does but not an actual listing of content) not sure if this is a problem.
I am logged in as the super user when trying to do all of this.
I did set up a role to admin this set of modules in case someone other than me, the super user needs to work with these...
Please help! I really really want to use this module.

beckyjohnson commentedOh also, I got this error on the content type retriever settings page: You may need to configure the content distribution module on the remote instance to allow content to be distributed.

joachim commentedIs this the same as #344726: Unable to retrieve a list of content types from the remote server?
