Hi,

I have been working on getting xmpp_messaging working again, but Darren has told me that xmpp_messaging will be moving to messaging module (see: http://drupal.org/node/443640).

So, here is a first draft of messaging_xmpp module.

I have made a few small changes to bring it up to speed with the current dev of Messaging.

It works fine for me connecting to an openfire server.

Anyone want to test?

The module, a bit extended, is available here, http://code.developmentseed.org/messaging_processor/dashboard

I'll be committing it into messaging after the next stable release, in a few days, and we'll be syncing again messaging / xmppframework development.

As the xmpp plug-in was already working, I've included it in the latest 6.x-2.0 release of notifications. This is a replacement for the old xmpp_messaging module, see #449544: Remove xmpp_messaging plug-in (Replaced by new plug-in)
