Are you thinking of adding Drupal to your portfolio of services? That is a good choice! Drupal is booming; you or your business can certainly benefit from that boom.

Experienced Drupal developers know that they have too few colleagues. That there is far more Drupal-related work out there than they can possible take, both paid and as volunteer. Progress is being made on the 4.7 release, but the release would have been history if we had more hands and eyes. The forums are full of people wanting to hire developers to fix issues or even build full Drupal sites and networks.

If, you think you want to become a Drupal consultant, or at least offer Drupal as one of your options, then Drupal welcomes you, with open arms. You will find a very nice community and that there is a lot of work for you to do. Drupal consultants all seem to have jobs, filled agendas, or lengthy todo lists.

The first step is to get involved (if you are not already). By simply contributing code, handbook updates, or by helping out in the forums your name will be seen. Within no time people will recognise you. If you have a problem, issue, question, or want to learn more about Drupal, you can be assured that the community will stand ready for you.

So learn Drupal, contribute, and become rich ;)

If you're thinking about what skills to acquire to make yourself marketable, Drupal coding and Drupal theming are very auspicious areas and worth your investment.

Hi, I am the developer of the much discussed podcasting module. :)
I am a big big fan of drupal, it makes my life so much easier.

Creating modules and themes is a breeze. Count me in!

Just one thing: wouldn't it be better to split up drupal.org in a beginners section and a developers section? There's way to much information on this site, Very difficult to search.
