hi,
I have tested your module and it works perfectly but i need select widget, not textfield widget (a same select for all input).
I have added this feature in your module.
I'm suggested this code to you. I have commented the code for each changing. Just few functions have changed and one added.

aaron1234nz commentedThanks for your comments. I'm currently working on MatrixField version 2 which is much more flexiable than version 1. It will allow textboxes, select, option, checkboxes. These will be configureable by row or column. This version should be about a week away from an alpha release.

Also it would be very nice if we could limit number of selections per row or column on radio buttons...

aaron1234nz commentedFor now you need to check it out of CVS. It's the 6-2 branch (http://cvs.drupal.org/viewvc.py/drupal/contributions/modules/matrix/?pat...) I'm finishing off the upgrade script to take the fields from 1.x to 2.x (I really need to do this before I realease anything or I will have issues later on)

I have hacked up the most recent matrix.module to accommodate.
