Exposed filter widget title has a id/name collision with the node's title field (both named "edit-title'). This is currently solved by an ugly Javascript masking and may not work in all cases. This is some ugly bug in the exposed filter form, maybe inventing of namespaces would solve the problem.

I think this issue is leading to my title field being hidden.

The title field is masked when opening the dialog and unmasked on close. This should be sufficient
