(hi stella, issue was not resolved.. still cannot see on user > edit page)

i use drupal 6.10 and avatar selection 6.x-1.5, the problem is ; although i installed and enabled and give the permissons to auth. users, and although i can see the settings of the module and selected force users to pick avatar (i don't know if its a solution) i cannot see anything on the site where i can choose an avatar to use. surely i installed so many (306 using bulk-upload surely tried one by one.. as said to the defined folder and can see them on avatar management section..) avatars but neither authotenticated users nor new registrants can see avatar selection box.. i mean i totally cannot see anything. i tried to change the theme also.. by the way i cannot see as the user1 on 'my account' settings edit etc., too, though i can upload picture.. is it an installation or configuring another module i got cck, views, image modules enabled if related..?

If you upgraded from an earlier version, did you run update.php?

Is 'picture support' enabled on admin/user/settings ?

Can you provide screenshots of your settings on admin/settings/avatar_selection and also admin/settings/avatar_selection/edit ?

no upgrade performed, picture support was selected, and settings are checked..

anyway issue solved!!! i don't know how or why, i just played with some settings, which one effected; also don't know..

Just a reminder: One also needs to activate profile module, and then has to activate user pictures. How? Here: http://drupal.org/node/22271

I'm glad if I helped.

This module is really great. But i think many people will stumble into this problem when they try to make it work. Maybe this point can be included in the documentation.
