The attached patch does the following:

  1. Adds comments to functions which didn't previously have any.
  2. Fixes the default variable for the path to sparklib so that it points to what is actually in the tarball.
  3. If the sparkline cache doesn't exist, create it. Otherwise, the sparkline doesn't render and the error is silent.
