Hi
I have installed the this module in drupal 6.9 with the JW FLV Media Player.
Only problem is.. The player is not showing on the page.
There is no errors and I have followed the installation guide step by step.
It got me thinking. Does anyone know if the JW player is working with 6.9? I sent an email to the guys at Longtail Videos, but the guy that wrote me back wasn't really sure about it.
So has anyone got this working with 6.9????
Extra info: If I type ind the url, "domain.com/sites/all/modules/flvmediaplayer/mediaplayer.swf" (path to player), the player shows up in the browser. And also if i type "domain.com/sites/all/modules/flvmediaplayer/mediaplayer.swf?file=video.flv" (path to video)it plays the video.
So before I spend more time pulling my hair out due to this, just want to hear from any of you who have got the player working. Any reply is highly appreciated.
Thankyou,
Lone

Malthus CreditAttribution: Malthus commentedMake sure that you download swfobject from the google code and place it in the swfobject_api drupal module folder. See the swfobject module README.txt. Version 6 of the swfobject_api module doesn't include the swfobject.js file.

I have done that too. I downloaded the swfobject_api module and the swfobject from google. I placed the files expressinstall.swf and swfobject.js (from the google swfobject) in the swfobject_api module directory. Should be about right.
ANy other ideas.
Still, would love to hear if someone has it working with drupal 6? (currently using 6.10)
Thankyou.

videohead CreditAttribution: videohead commentedI've got the same problem. 6.1.10.
I'm not sure what this refers to from the README
" render a player on your page with theme('flvmediaplayer_display', $node, $profile, $params); "
Do I add this to my .tpl files?

ljrweb CreditAttribution: ljrweb commentedWhen i go to my url:
http://punkrockla.com/sites/all/modules/flvmediaplayer/mediaplayer.swf?f...
it says video not found or access denied.. the video is in sites/default/files/
shouldn't the video play with that url query string?
also-- when i go to:
http://punkrockla.com/node/97/flvmediaplayer
it generates the XML file but no player? is that supposed to happen??
i'll gladly pay for support on this--
thanks

Anonymous (not verified) CreditAttribution: Anonymous commentedEmfield Video recommended me to use this FLV Player Module to integrate with a profile. But now the JW Player stops showing for Youtube videos. Without this module, emfield can play youtube videos inside the JW Player.
