Wondering if there's a way to assign a default taxonomy for Forums so that users don't have to select a taxonomy\topic every time they post. Also, I'm a bit confused about the difference between Containers and Forums - is this the right way to set up my forum pages?
Example
Politics (Container) <- would like to assign a default "politics" taxonomy term here
- General (Forum)
- US Politics (Forum)
- World Issues (Forum)

beginner CreditAttribution: beginner commentedA container is a place holder for different forums.
for example:
http://www.reuniting.info/forum/
has three containers (Announcements, Healing with Sexual Relationships, Soulmate Search).
If you go first to the forum you want to, then click 'add new forum topic', then you don't need to change the taxonomy/forum in the menu.
That's the way Drupal works.
