Is there a way to hide the Invitation tab if there is no invitation for the event or user doesn't have access to create one. It's confusing for end user when they see this message:

Your invitations for this event

There are no invitations available for this event.

If there is a invitation, there is Action on bottom right that all user to see and RSVP.

Thanks,

Hi =gk

I will see if I can fix the invitation tab, but it might be not formant because there are two many variables involved that need to be considered just to display the tab.

If there is a invitation, there is Action on bottom right that all user to see and RSVP."

Is this a question or did you find an issue?
Please explain a little bit more.

Thanks,
Ulf

Hi Ulf,

What I meant to say: if there a way to hide invitation tab for users, who don't have permission to create invitation, as they can always click on "Reply to Invitation" action or direct link in their e-mail to reply. For end users, the tab shows up even if there is no invitation and they have to click twice to get to it which can be confusing.

Hope this explains

Now I understand.

The problem with using the links to select an invitation is fine if you have only one invitation per event, but as soon as you start having multiple invitations (for example with invitations for reoccurring events) then the link section becomes impracticable. At that point the form behind the Invitation tab is listing the available invitations.

What I could do though is disabling the Invitation tab if there is not more then one accessible invitation and the user can not create an invitation.

I probably will build this into RSVP 2.0 and not RSVP1.1

Thanks,
Ulf

Ahh, I see your point on multiple invitations. I'll wait for RSVP 2.0

Thanks for considering this feature request.

The 2.0 dev package is already available and it is pretty stable. Please try it because I added the changes about the invitation tab yesterday.

Active development will be done only in the 2.0 stream.

Thanks,
Ulf

Hi =gk,
I've found another issue with Invitation tab and it seems to be a bug so I'm not sure if I should report here or create a separate issue.
Since it's related, I'll post it here:

The Invitation tab on user's profile is open/available to other users who has permission to "access user profiles" and they can not only see the invitation but also can update it.
I found the problem and checked it in today. It will be fixed with the next development release.

Thanks,
Ulf
