Release notes
Reset now puts back more of the site. Before this release, some changes that an agent made during a run stayed after reset.
Changes
- #3611949: Restore settings, custom folders and package edits on reset
- Reset works when Drupal cannot boot, for example when an enabled module's code is gone. The fixture-set hash now runs as plain PHP.
- Reset puts back
web/sites/*/settings*.phpand removes added settings files. DDEV's ownsettings.ddev.phpis left out. - Reset removes what a run added to an untracked
web/modules/customorweb/themes/custom. Before, it stopped withAPG_RESET_UNTRACKED. - Reset runs
composer reinstallon each package whose files a run changed (APG_RESET_PACKAGE_DRIFTif they still differ). A package installed from source is never reinstalled: reset printsAPG_RESET_PACKAGE_SOURCE_EDITED. - New doctor check:
site_files.
Upgrade
Provision again to record the new site files (site.*.json and site.*.packages.json.gz). A baseline from an older release still works: reset warns and does not restore these files.
Behaviour change
Reset now removes settings files and custom folder files that were added after provision.
AI-Generated: Yes (Claude Code wrote the change and these notes; the maintainer reviewed them.)
