The branding template currently gives the logo image the alternative text “Home.” This describes the link’s destination but not much the image’s content. A logo typically represents the site’s identity; the alternative text would be improved here if making use of that identity information, the site name and site slogan with the logo. This would better meet the WCAG Success Criterion 1.1.1: Non-text Content.

It looks like the MR failed with `413 Request Entity Too Large`. This seems unrelated to my change. Please let me know what's needed.

Version: 4.0.x-dev » 5.0.x-dev
Issue tags: -a11y +Accessibility

Thanks @ll66382! I have been getting into Accessibility recently, and this is a great little detail, it would be nice to get fixed.

It looks like tests are failing for both versions, judging from the project page https://www.drupal.org/project/bootstrap5.

The latest release for Drupal 11 and 12 is 5.x, so I have updated the Version. Maybe the MR needs to be updated? If not, feel free to change status to Needs review :)

Also, the "Accessibility" tag has more momentum than "a11y" so I updated it, and hope that's all right.

@vladimiraus or @jannakha: Please set the default version to 5.x on GitLab https://git.drupalcode.org/project/bootstrap5, otherwise new MR's are targeting the old 4.x version.
