The Locale CSV Sync module provides an administrative interface to export and import Drupal's interface translation strings (the `locale` system) in bulk, using multi-column CSV files. Both the export and the import run in the background using the Batch API, so they scale to sites with very large numbers of translatable strings without exhausting memory or triggering.
Features
- Export all interface translations to CSV: Generates a multi-column CSV with columns lid, context, source, and one column per enabled language. CSV files include a UTF‑8 compatibility.
- Background processing via Batch API: Both export and import run as chunked batch jobs to safely handle very large translation sets without exhausting memory or hitting PHP timeouts.
- Incremental export (append): The exporter writes to a single file in small chunks (configurable/safe chunk size), avoiding large in‑memory payloads and allowing exports on high‑volume sites.
