The "Group permision" access plugin is deprecated, use the "Group permission" contextual filter validator instead.

Getting the group we should check a permission on from a view access plugin has always been hard and restricted to the URL, even though contextual filters could be configured to get it from other sources such as a block's context provider or VBO batch operation.

The permission check has therefore moved to contextual filters. All the instructions on how to adjust your view are in the old "Group permission" access plugin of your view. Once you have moved to the new approach and set the old approach to "None, I am using contextual filters instead" and it will stop running any code in the background.
