0️⃣ Roll Call! Who is here today? Introduce yourself including your name and drupal.org username.

mradcliffe Matthew here (mradcliffe). July has not been a very good month healthwise, and I wasn't available last week. Hoping to be more productive in August.
tekNorah Norah here (tekNorah). I am feeling much like mradcliffe about this/next month.

1️⃣ CLI in Core Initiative Meta discussions

1️⃣ 0️⃣ Meta Issue — drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/3582246

mradcliffe I was able to catch up on meeting note issues this morning.
mradcliffe I updated a few issues as I had time with testing instructions from the initiative docs.

1️⃣ 1️⃣ Roadmap to stable — drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/3606055

mradcliffe An issue from quietone to track stable status, which is pretty much phase 2 commands and follow-up issues from phase 1.
mradcliffe It probably needs to be linked from the initiative issue (and doc page?) more prominently.
mradcliffe Probably needs review from @moshe and @dww.
mradcliffe We should probably change the parent of the phase 2 issues to this one since most are tracked there.
mradcliffe These are all possible tasks if anyone wants to pick them up.

2️⃣ Phase 2 Progress

2️⃣ 0️⃣ Follow-up issues—discussion for any of the follow-up issues

mradcliffe Extension install batch discussion from yesterday:  nicxvan in #cli-in-core
mradcliffe Possible drupal install command issue from today: smustgrave in #cli-in-core
mradcliffe I am hoping I have time in the next few days to get back to reviewing and testing the extension related commands.
larowlan Feel free to ping me when stuff is rtbc

2️⃣ 2️⃣ API and User documentation discussion

No discussion

3️⃣ If you have anything else to talk about, please start a new thread below numbered 4️⃣ 5️⃣, etc...

4️⃣ Any upcoming events with contribution opportunities?

mradcliffe The extension list command issue was tagged for 2026Sprint15, I'm not sure what or when that is.
mradcliffe Maybe DrupalCamp Colorado which is a month before Rotterdam 2026?

Thread from neecoe

In a recommended drupal workflow some commands should not be run in production, like module installs, config export etc. So why not let drush become a local development tool and get the commands which need to run in production first in core, like config import, updb, cr etc

mradcliffe I think that is the plan. But I would disagree that extension/module install/uninstall/list and config export would also be production tools.
neecoe Hmm. depends how people do it. Ever since I started using config management I have never had to install things in production directly. but it might be useful for debugging etc for sure

thread from moshe

I think that the test fail at git.drupalcode.org/project/…/pipelines is unrelated to the PR. Can anyone confirm?

mradcliffe I think so. I know that testCreateDirectoryFailWarning has been failing regularly.
mradcliffe Same withe the other one, which seems to be fixed in drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/3612945

Participants (including from linked conversations the day before):

mradcliffe, tekNorah, neecoe, moshe, larowlan, nicxvan, smustgrave
