Problem/Motivation

In Drupal 10.3, the default behavior of core’s guess() changed: instead of the "application/octet-stream" fallback, it returns NULL. That was changed in the core issue 3156672.

Proposed resolution

If we see an empty value returned from guess(), fall back to "application/octet-stream".
