Looks like we've a lot more work done in the past 2 days. I think there's enough to warrant an alpha2 version, which might encourage others to test it (and not report things that have already been fixed).

Also updated the module project page to reflect the current situation.

Next up is #3611099: Drupal 12 compatibility in which I already added an overview of things to be done (but less time pressing as the rest that has been done in my opinion).
