Problem/Motivation

ANSI sql should be adhered to whenever possible in order to support more than just mysql/mariadb.

In our case, we needed a patch to support pgsql.

This patch also is functional with mysql.

Steps to reproduce

Switch to pgsql from mysql after having configured a view with view_custom_table.
