Canvas Workbench is ready for its first release. See what happened so far:

There are a few things we need to fix before publish v0.1.0 on npm.

Proposed resolution

  • Add a build command to package the runtime due to packages private to the Canvas monorepo
  • For the same reason, move preview runtime helpers from vite-compat to workbench
  • Bump drupal-canvas to version 0.3.0 since it contains the new json-render utilities Workbench uses
  • Update docs
  • Bonus last minute fix: Ensure vite-compat also includes vite-plugin
  • Various smaller fixes
