Extend to filefield?

Hi,

I must say that this module is quite good, but I was wondering if it would be difficult to make it work with filefield? This would be most helpful for a lot of people, as transloading files onto a server is much faster than download from a server and uploading it again. Seeing as imagefield is written off filefield, if its doable, that'll be great =). There have been a lot of requests for a transloading module for Drupal so I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate someone taking their time to make one.
