Problem/Motivation

Instances admin page (/admin/structure/display-builder/instances) can be improved:

Header box:

  • There is a "Sort" select in the "Filter" area. It is better to keep the area only for filters and move sorts to the related table cols.
  • A filter is labelled "Name contains" but there is no "Name" col
  • "- Select context -" must be "- All - " or "- Any -"
  • No need for a title in the filters box. It is already obvious and no need to make the box collapsible. We can take inspiration from /admin/content
  • Input titles are missing and a placeholder is used as title. We can also take inspiration from /admin/content here.

Table:

  • "Edit profile" operation is a link to "Edit display" pages so it must be named "Edit display"
  • We can save a col by moving "Save is present?" information to "Last log" col
  • Do we need to split the past and future numbers? Just the number of steps may give the same information with less visual noise

Proposed resolution

Do the changes.
