Project name: Block Class
Project URL: https://www.drupal.org/project/block_class

Hi Alberto (@avpaderno) and the team! 😊

I've been a project maintainer of the module Block Class since 2013 and would like to apply for the Maintainer role in project's Gitlab repo to have higher administrative privileges on the module.

Block Class project members on Gitlab:
https://git.drupalcode.org/project/block_class/-/project_members

Current role on Gitlab: Developer, see screenshot at the bottom of issue summary.
Requesting role: Maintainer
Problem: We are unable to change the default branch in the repo or administer other settings, see:
#3356443: Set default branch to 4.0.x

We have not tried contacting the current maintainer (@todd nienkerk) through the contact form yet, but currently it appears to have been inactive for a while, at least five years, judging from:
https://git.drupalcode.org/users/toddnienkerk/activity

Could you please edit my membership in the Block Class Gitlab project and grant me "Maintainer" role?

If you think that would not be a good idea or have any reason not to grant me higher privileges on the module, I could definitely understand... and it's not like I don't already have a lot of modules to maintain on my plates. 😅
But ideally, the module would need somebody with a higher level of permissions to look at the issues from times to times and be able to reply to developers requests, in a reasonable amount of time, as much as possible.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns on any aspects of this request, or the Block Class project in general, I would surely be glad to reply as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance! 😊

You have been already set as maintainer.

Now that this issue is closed, review the contribution record.

As a contributor, attribute any organization that helped you, or if you volunteered your own time.

Maintainers, credit people who helped resolve this issue.

Thanks a lot Alberto (@avpaderno) and sorry for the unnecessary bother! 🙏

While I have your attention, would you be able to do anything for us here?

We would like to add a new documentation page to an existing Documentation Guide:

Would you be able to add my user as a documetation maintainer for this page?
https://www.drupal.org/docs/extending-drupal/contributed-modules/contrib...

Otherwise, please let me know and I'll probably create a ticket in the Documentation issue queue.

Thanks again for your help!

@dydave It was not a bother at all. Probably, somebody changed you from co-maintainer to maintainer before I noticed this issue.

I added you as maintainer of https://www.drupal.org/docs/extending-drupal/contributed-modules/contrib..., since you are maintainer for the related project.

Thanks a lot Alberto (@avpaderno) once again for the speedy reply! 🙏

The change seems to have worked, since I was able to update the menu of the new documentation page so it could be added to the Block Class guide. 👍

Everything should be in order now with module's documentation and I should be able to make any changes in the future 👌

Thanks again for the great help and speedy reply! 😊
