Problem/Motivation

The latest release is presently 8.x-1.0. There have been 14 additional commits into the 8.x-1.x branch since: https://git.drupalcode.org/project/name/-/compare/8.x-1.0...8.x-1.x?from...

Some of these (such as that for #3491471: Literal "_none" value saved for select fields) have to do with the data integrity (not lossy, but adding noise). Instead of having to apply patch-wise, an appropriately tagged release is generally preferred.

Steps to reproduce

Install latest release.

See that #3491471: Literal "_none" value saved for select fields still presents itself, despite the issue being closed.
