I've enabled some modules and assigned their blocks to the right column, such as Cumulus and Subscription. Nothing. They don't show on the blocks page after I assign them, or on the normal front page. If I change to Garland, I get the blocks.

Very strange, I just tested it and it's fine to me.

Could you go back to your block page again, and re-assign the block, but first, make sure that you are editing the blocks for moleskine, because blocks are dependant of each theme (so make sure that MOLESKINE is highlighted when you configure the blocks).
Get back to me if it still doesn't work.

Sorry...forgot about closing this. I reinstalled and reinstalled the modules from which the blocks are generated, and it was fine afterwards. No idea what the issue was.
