Proposed resolution

Is it the opportunity to merge them?

If we add "Reorder by dragging", "Trigger contextual panel" and "Dropzones" to Tree panel, Layers panel will lose its relevance.

If done on beta we will probably need to introduce a hook_update, so should be done before.

Talked with Jean (@mogtofu33) today:

We keep both Tree & Layers, but Tree will be a minimal "quick access" tool to move the focus to the selected source on Buidler & Layers panels.

So, this will be enough for beta1:

  • we remove the 3 vertical dots menu from TreePanel, because it will not be used.

And we can add some follow-up for beta phase:
