James Shields 'lostcarpark' has been actively coordinating mentoring in Europe including DrupalCon Europe for a couple of years.
Proposed resolution
Add James Shields as a core mentoring coordinator to core MAINTAINERS.txt.
Remaining tasks
- The Mentoring Working Group (MWG) to gather feedback from current mentoring coordinators — Done
- Move this issue into Drupal Core so a merge request can be created. — done
- create MR
- check MR is valid

quietone commentedChanges are made on on 11.x (our main development branch) first, and are then back ported as needed according to the Core change policies.
There is no MR here to work on so changing to Active.
