Converting http://drupal.org/node/154841 into README.txt

Khalid, as requested, I am planning to write up the instructions here for a proper README.txt. However, as you have suggested feature requests to be raised for most instructions, I am unsure which comments on that thread I should try combining into a README.txt. Could you point me to the essential ones?
