gcdsd-alert will no longer be used by the design system. It is replaced by gcds-notice, the approved component.

Proposed resolution

Add the gcds-notice component as an SDC and update twig currently calling gcds-alert.

TBD: What would a good transition plan be for sites already using gcds-alert?

There is no need for an upgrade path since there have been no releases, not even an alpha.
