I want to propose dropping support for Drupal 7 when it goes end of life on 5 January 2025.

Proposed resolution

That would mean:

  • We mark the Drupal 7 release as unsupported
  • We close all Drupal 7 issues as won't fix
  • We remove migration related code from the module

Removing migrate related code and tests got rid of some failing tests. Fixing the rest in #3571776: Fix tests.

Now that this issue is closed, review the contribution record.
