The lines setting ref and _CURL_TEMPLATES_REF were added as per #3456471: Change the version of the GitLab templates used for the GitLab CI pipelines since, at the time, the default GitLab CI template files were not running the jobs on Drupal 10.3, the Drupal version required by the module.

Now that jobs are executed on Drupal 11, which is also a Drupal version required by the module, those lines can be removed.
