Problem/Motivation
The Project Browser Initiative wants nice project logos for better UX. The logo will be displayed on the card for your module in the Project Browser (as well as on drupalcode.org as your project avatar, and on drupal.org on your project page).
The Slick Paragraphs module needs a logo for this objective.
Proposed resolution
- Create a logo that is 512x512 square dimension in PNG format without animations.
- The file size should be 10k or less.
- Use a lossy image tool (such as pngquant) to reduce the file size while keeping the image quality at around 80%.

MAINTAINERS: Once a logo is reviewed and approved, it should be added to the root folder of your project's repo, and be named
logo.png. This must be present on your project’sdefault branch. If you have a logo as the first image in theImagesfield on your project page, please remove it. The logo will be displayed on the cards in the Project Browser grid and list views.

kristen polMoving to project's queue per @leslieg.
kristen polThe current screenshot does not match the requirements.
sourojeetpaul commentedHi @Kristen Pol,
I think it'll be better if we target the screenshot issue over a separate ticket, as the issue is tagged with "PB logo" issue. So updating screenshot for the same doesn't align with the tag.
I'm providing a logo for it quickly :)
sourojeetpaul commented@Kristen Pol, Pls find attached the logo and share your views!
kristen polThanks. I like this but I’m not sure if it’s obvious enough that this matches the name of the module. Leaving open for other reviews.
gausarts commented@sourojeetpaul, #5 is cool, thanks.
However as @kristen-pol said, it might need a little more association to Slick or Paragraphs modules.
Their logos exist.
If you could incorporate or just combine Slick and Paragraphs logos in a coherent design/ association, that would be more recognizable, not necessarily descriptive.
Thank you.

sourojeetpaul commentedHi @gausarts,
Thanks for the review! I've made modifications on it accordingly.... With this its now representing Paragraphs and Slick both in a functional way as well as branding aspect!
As Paragraphs helping us creating a sort of components and then adding reference of the same to different entities, as a variant or instance of the same structural component, hence we depicted 3 variants having structural similarity with change in content as well as incorporated the brand logos so as to make a stronger connection connotatively as well as descriptively!
gausarts commentedIt is good, but I am afraid a bit more complex for a logo, IMHO.
Just my two cents, maybe a minimalist logo is more prominent, no descriptive accessories are needed as previously mentioned.
I was thinking about just combining the two logos of Slick and Paragraphs with a single color so to be more coherent or integrated to depict more about integration idea.
Anything that is still recognizable as a favicon is normally a so-called minimalist.
We'd love to hear what others' feedback on this, as well.
gausarts commentedTo be clear and minimize efforts, perhaps a combination of letters:
Whichever looks prominent, I would leave it to your best design choice.
If you'd like to incorporate your initial design in #5, it would be better to be placed as a background around those letters so to be more coherently.
sourojeetpaul commentedHi @gausarts,
As per your previous comment I've understood is basically we want something like a calligraphy with the initials of the aforementioned module and libraries.
But I'm a bit doubtful about making both of them to be some same colour or background as in those are brand logos and the colours for them have been designated after careful consideration, so altering the colours just to make bring cohesiveness is a bit thoughtful!
Still I'm uploading all the 3 versions I've managed to create in the mean time. Have a quick look :)
gausarts commentedI thought the last would be more recognizable, but apparently not due to confusing small letter "s". Intriguing positively and interesting nonetheless :)
The second one is more recognizable and beautiful:

We'll keep it open for a mo to hear others' feedbacks before I can place it at the project home.
Thank you for your works!
kristen polI like the first two but they need to be 512x512
Comment #14
sourojeetpaul commentedHi @Kristen Pol,
All the logos I've provided till now is of 512x512 and meeting other requirements as well. Can you kindly verify once again?
Attaching the properties screenshot for quick reference :)
gausarts commentedOk, 512px is good, then :)
One last question, @sourojeetpaul:
Which one do you want to place at this project home?
sourojeetpaul commentedHi @gausarts,
To choose from the first two I'd prefer the second one. But I'll defer to your opinion here. I'll be glad if any of my logo finds a home at your project.
Thanks :)
kristen polAh… because the background was a rectangle, I assume the size was wrong… looking on phone. Then I’ll let @gusarts decide which one :)
gausarts commented@sourojeetpaul, I am with you :)
I'll arrange some time this week, and close this.
