On June 24, 2024 DAP released version 8 of their JavaScript. This new version removed the pua parameter due to the impending shutdown of Universal Analytics on July 1, 2024.
As a result, the US Fed Government Google Analytics module has deprecated the pua setting in its module. The setting is disabled in the module's configuration form, but it is still visible to administrators just in case someone needs that value for reference. The setting and its configuration will be removed in version 3.0.0.
The pua parameter is replaced by the pga4 parameter. pga4 accepts a Google Analytics 4 ID as its input. If you have not yet set up a Google Analytics 4 account for your site, then you need to do that. Your old Universal Analytics site ID will not work in the pga4 parameter.
