Problem/Motivation
For those unfortunate soles who are still working with CKEditor 4 on Drupal 7 sites, the guidance on the project page,
"CKEditor LTS requires a license key. If you’re interested in the LTS service for CKEditor 4, please contact our sales team: https://ckeditor.com/contact-sales/#send-message "
and the installation guide: https://www.drupal.org/docs/7/modules/ckeditor-lts/installation-and-conf... are not adequate to obtain a license key or even a cost for it.
Proposed resolution
Can information be added on the installation guide about pricing for the LTS license key be provided on the documentation page or a link to it.
Perhaps this issue could be turned into a feature request to provide an automated way to purchase the license key. I'm sure this would be helpful to allow the CKSource sales team to focus on more profitable sales activities.

Reinmar commentedHi! CKEditor team here
The CKEditor 4 LTS pricing model is flexible and the final number depends on multiple factors. We don't currently have a self-service system to sell those licenses too.
I know this isn't the answer that you were looking for and anticipating next questions I'll repost here a fuller answer that I gave recently on Drupal's Slack channel:

bsnodgrass commentedI understand and appreciate the pricing dilemma, I will be patient and wait for a response from the Sales team.
In the meantime, it seems reasonable to change this to a postponed Feature Request. I will also engage in discussions in the slack channel.
Thanks for your response.

bsnodgrass commentedI just received word from the CKEditor Sales team on pricing.
I won't post the price I was quoted. However, I can't think of why anyone who needs to stay with CKEditor 4 on a Drupal site would consider that over replacing it with a supported alternative.
