Install the theme and go to the appearance tab. You can see the theme, currently, it is showing the Claro theme screenshot. You need to update the animal shelter image here.
IMO it'll be better to have the same screenshot for the theme as that of its project page. To maintain a sweet aspect ratio of 4:3 its not possible to have all the sections depicted on the screenshot, so we can go about with the Banner and Services section respectively.
I've already upscaled the images:
1. Stitch both the images respectively the Banner and Services section.
2. Resize the whole image at 588 X 438 dimension.
3. Maintaining a sweet aspect ratio of 4:3
4. File size should be reasonable,under 200KB max!

The screenshot depicts how it looks on the homepage when the theme is set as default theme. Also in my instance I've implemented a caraousel as a block and placed it on the banner region that's why it looks like this, you can customize it according to your choice as well. I thought it might give a good reference to the visual appearance of the theme. This is how it looks on the appearance page now:

I'll ask my design team to come up with a nice screenshot for this one before shipping in! IMO stitching the banner and services section into a single image which will confirm to Drupal Theme screenshots dimensions and maintaining a reasonable file size will be a good point to start off!
I was working on it initially when I had very little design knowledge, and now after working on a plethora of PB logo issues, this seems a bit off, hence moving it back to NW :)
